Lake Ida is the residential area around the lake of the same name in north-central Delray Beach, reached by Lake Ida Road, with streets of single-story homes built on concrete slabs.

Pineapple Grove is the arts district just north of Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray Beach, where older cottages sit alongside townhomes, apartments and mixed-use buildings from the past two decades.
- Seagate
Seagate is a residential neighborhood on the east side of the Intracoastal Waterway near the beach, with larger single-family homes, many of them rebuilt or extensively renovated.
- Tropic Isle
Tropic Isle is a canal-front neighborhood south of Linton Boulevard along the Intracoastal Waterway, where most homes back onto navigable canals.
- Marina Historic District
The Marina Historic District lies just south of Atlantic Avenue between Federal Highway and the Intracoastal Waterway, with many homes dating from the 1920s through the 1940s.
- Del Ida Park
Del Ida Park is a historic neighborhood just north of downtown Delray Beach, laid out in the 1920s, with some of the city's older homes on tree-lined streets.
- Osceola Park
Osceola Park is a residential neighborhood south of Atlantic Avenue in east Delray Beach, between Swinton Avenue and Federal Highway, with many bungalows and cottages from the 1920s through the 1950s.
- Palm Trail
Palm Trail is a residential area in the beach area of Delray Beach, north of Atlantic Avenue and a short walk from the ocean.
- Beach District
The Beach District covers the oceanfront side of Delray Beach along A1A, north and south of Atlantic Avenue, with condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes near the public beach.
- The Set
The Set is the historic core of West Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, including the West Settlers Historic District, with homes ranging from early twentieth-century cottages to modern infill.
- The Hamlet
The Hamlet is a country club community west of Interstate 95 in Delray Beach, built around a golf course, with single-family homes and villas dating largely from the 1970s.
- Kings Point
Kings Point is a large 55-plus condominium community west of Delray Beach, with ground floor and upper floor units in low-rise buildings built mainly in the 1970s and 1980s.
